Raza Abbas, a resident of Noida, was struggling with frequent bursts of fever, cold, and cough, because of his unhealthy lifestyle. He experienced great changes in his overall health after following the satvic lifestyle.

"It was so delightful to see so many people, from different walks of life coming together to work on their health. I was so inspired by the enthusiasm of the people there and started following the complete satvic lifestyle religiously, from the very next day."

Why did you start following the Satvic lifestyle?

I work in the IT industry and my work schedule is very taxing and tiring, because of which I was not able to live a healthy life. I used to fall sick frequently. Every 3-4 months, I contracted a new disease like flu, viral fever, body ache, etc. Due to this reason, I got into the habit of taking antibiotics and pain killers on a regular basis. I knew that these medicines and the food that I eat, will affect my health in the long run, but I had no other option. My work schedule is very hectic and involves a lot of traveling. Moreover, I was gaining a lot of weight because of my unhealthy lifestyle. And a year ago, I also developed severe lower back pain because of long sitting hours and lack of physical activity. I wanted to live a better quality life, which is why I started following the Satvic lifestyle.

What did you start doing? Tell us about your healing journey.

Attending the Health Transformation Workshop was one of the best experiences of my life. It was so delightful to see so many people, from different walks of life coming together to achieve the common goal of perfect health. I was so inspired by the enthusiasm of the people there and started following the complete satvic lifestyle religiously, from the very next day. For the last 6 months, I have been doing wet packs, enema, sunbathing and eating Satvic food, and honestly, it all feels so natural now. (Satvic Movement note: practices like enema are not for pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 14 or anyone severely underweight.) Initially, I had difficulty in quitting non-veg food, as in my family we are used to having it every day. But, a healthy outside always starts from a healthy inside.

What are the benefits you received by following the Satvic lifestyle?

I have not fallen sick even once in the last 6 months. Moreover, I feel so much more energetic and active all day long despite my long working hours. I have lost 5 kg and my back pain has eased a lot. In these last 6 months, I have learned how much it helps to build wellness every day.

Apart from the physical changes, have you noticed any mental or spiritual changes?

I can feel so much positivity and happiness surging in me. I have become much calmer and relaxed now. My decision making capability has increased and I can pay more attention to my work as well as my family, without being distracted easily.

Can you imagine a world without diseases & medicines? A place where everyone lives in sync with nature. What do you picture?

I believe that if we love ourselves and care for ourselves, then naturally the whole world will become a more lovable place. The world we live in today has a lot of negativity and sickness, but, I think if we all can change the way we eat, the way we think and act will automatically change.
