Note from the reviewing doctor: After gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy), loose stools, bloating and indigestion are common, because bile is no longer stored and released in the same way after fatty meals. A healthy lifestyle helps a lot: eat smaller, more frequent meals, cut down on high-fat and fried food, and drink enough water.

"After my gall-bladder was removed I was put under a very strict diet, and I used to experience digestion issues. Now, my digestion feels much better and my weight has come down to 69 kg from 98 kg."

Why did you start following the Satvic lifestyle?

Any health problems? Any fitness goals? In June of 2018, I experienced serious stomach pains because of which I was taken into ICU for 11 days. There was some problem with my gall-bladder and the doctors said, it has to be removed. So, in September 2018, I had an operation and my gall-bladder was removed. After that, the pain subsided, but I gained a lot of weight. I was also facing difficulty, eating and digesting certain types of food. Also, I was living on a very strict diet. After allopathy, I tried homeopathy, where I was spending 8000 rupees every month. But, it proved ineffective. In December, I came across Subah's videos. I started following the lifestyle instantly, and just in a week, I experienced so much change inside me that I decided to stick to it.

After watching the video, I changed my diet and started eating more fruits and salads. In a month, I was convinced that this is the way to go. Not only physically but mentally also I was feeling healthier. After the workshop, I started following all the rules and laws suggested by Subah and ate one grain meal in a day. I did and still do pranayama, wet packs, enema and a morning walk regularly. (Enemas and wet packs are not advised for pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 14 or anyone severely underweight.)

What are the benefits you received by following the Satvic lifestyle?

After my gall-bladder was removed, I was put under a very strict diet. Moreover, I used to experience many digestion problems. Now, my digestion feels much better. My weight has come down to 69 kg from 98 kg in 4 months. The people around me have started complimenting on my looks. They say that I look more young now. I am completely healthy and I am not taking any medicines, not even homeopathy ones. Not only that, my stamina has increased and I don't get tired easily.

Apart from physical changes, have you noticed any mental or spiritual changes? Emotionally I have become more positive and optimistic. I feel far less low or stressed than before. I have also developed a strong sense of compassion and love for others.

Can you imagine a world without diseases and medicines? A place where everyone lives in sync with nature. What do you picture?

I feel people can take a more active part in their own health, alongside their doctor's advice. If people start listening to their bodies and taking care of themselves every day, many of them may need far fewer medicines over time.
